Using PowerGrit chain on an ICS® utility chain saw provides the operator with significant and unique safety benefits.

No flying debris PowerGrit chain will not shatter like an abrasive blade.
Single side access The PowerGrit system allows the operator to safely cut through the entire pipe from a single side access point which eliminates placing an operator in a compromised position.
No dust The PowerGrit system is a wet cut system, requiring water. Therefore the user is subjected to dramatically less dust and particulate ingestion.
Safety not compromised The PowerGrit system eliminates the need to modify or adjust the manufacturer's safety guide in order to perform in upward direction.
Better operator control The PowerGrit system offers more operator control and single pass cutting, which safely maintains the angle of the cut throughout the entire job and reduces the potential for pinch.
No kickback PowerGrit® chain is a grinding technology, not a cutting technology, which eliminates rotational kickback normally associated with wood chain saws. That advantage provides safer usability and allows the operator to plunge the saw directly into the pipe when necessary.
