Husqvarna has to two drive systems and it's important to
know which drive system is equipped on your saw.

Older Husqvarna saws utilizea 9-spline system
Identify these saws by the drive sprocket (also called a rim sprocket).
These sprockets have a larger interior and 9 indents on the inner rim,
called splines. These saws can only use the
FORCE3
system from ICS. To convert your saw to the 7-Spline system, the PRO45 Kit P/N 588679701
is available below:
Newer Husqvarna saws utilizea 7-spline system
